Friday Evening, August 7

Soliciting suggestions for things to do Friday evening.
At the very least we can plan on congregating on and around the Pier Village.  Stroll the "New" Boardwalk and casually visit the various night spots, resturants, etc.

Saturday August 8

For those that are in the area, and to those that have traveled and are staying in the area, suggestions for plans to meet casually in and around Long Branch.  Maybe lunch.  Maybe a morning / afternoon at Seven Presidents Park.  We are soliciting suggestions.

The Gala:

We need to select our evening entertainment.  Most likely by a poll that should be resolved by the end of January. Live Band?  DJ?  any suggestions please.

A Photographer / videographer must also be selected.  Again we should Poll for a concensus on who.

Additional testimonials and programs should be discussed and Polled for preferences.

Sunday August 9

The day after.  Again while we have time we need to consider and decide whether there should be any planned activities.  While we are all in the general area we might like to plan for a Breakfast / Brunch.  Or maybe a little more time at the Beach - Seven President Park etc.  Seven Presidents has an area for rent, covered pic-nic area that can accomodate 50 or so people but we will need to reserve soon.

The Gala venue but we still have some work to tie up loose ends.

See you soon!

Greetings

An independent website, not affiliated with or a member of any organization, committee or official Long Branch High School Class of 1965 group.
This website is dedicated to collecting information about the class members of Long Branch High School Class of 1965, provide a means of sharing information about the reunion, facilitating communication between members via e-mail address provided at registration.
The website was conceived and created early October 2014, before there was a Committee.  My intentions then, and continues to be, to create a place to find information about our 50th Class Reunion.  To create a place where thoughts could be discussed, and suggestions considered by as many classmates that could be found.  To create a place where Polling could measure what the majority of classmates are looking for in this very special occasion.  A facility to purchase tickets with a credit card, and purchase advertising space in the Reunion Program with a credit card.
I was invited to join the committee late October and attended four committee teleconferences, November – January.  It became clear to me that I operate much better by myself.  I excused myself from the committee January 9, 2015.
This website continues to do all the things that are expressed above.
Registration provides a means to stay in touch with reunion activities including organizing and / or planning events for Friday before and Sunday after.  RSVP provides information about who is planning to attend, buy tickets and see who else is planning to attend.
Any and all information provided can be removed, also, you can opt out of any further messages from this website.
Hope you find the site interesting and I hope to see you at the Jumping Brook Country Club, August 8, 2015.
