I worked with Richie for twelve years after I returned to this area. I can still envision him dragging himself into work, slowly walking down the long halls of the junior high.  He showed great determination and will all those years despite his chronic illness.  He fought bravely but it was a battle that he could not win. Rest in peace my old friend.

Richie, you were one of my best friends growing up, especially since I almost killed you.  You were Godfather to my oldest daughter, Peggy, and  you stood in for Tom when we Baptized my niece, when Tom was in Viet Nam.  We had some really great, fun times.  You are forever my heart!!  Love always, R.
