Carmeline F. Del Vecchio, age 64 of Waretown died peacefully on Sunday September 11, 2011 at Southern Ocean County Hospital in Stafford Township. She was a head banking associate for Bank of America in Egg Harbor City. Born and raised in Long Branch, she had lived in Toms River and South Carolina before moving to Waretown 3 years ago. Carmeline was predeceased by her father Michael Lisanti and her brother Anthony Lisanti. Surviving is her husband of 42 years, Dennis J. Del Vecchio; two sons and daughter in law, Marc Del Vecchio of Greenville, SC; Adam and Miranda Del Vecchio of Toms River; her mother, Ada Lisanti Del Vecchio of Tinton Falls; 4 sisters, Marguerite Chiafullo of Tinton Falls; Antonietta Silvestri of Oakhurst; Funzie Strollo of West Long Branch; and Teresa Krelik of Tinton Falls and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.), Long Branch. Funeral Friday 10 am at the funeral home followed by a 11 am Mass Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Long Branch.
