Lucille E. Bergeron

Lucille “Lu” Erhard Bergeron, age 74, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022. She was a devoted, loving, and caring wife and mother during her 30 years of marriage to Donald R. Bergeron. Much joy was shared between Lu and Donald during their many years together. They went on countless cruises to Mexico, the Caribbean, and so many other beautiful locations. When health became a challenge, Lu and Donald never let go of their love of the water and spent a week each spring and fall in a condo at Jacksonville Beach. She was a great companion and will be missed dearly.

She is predeceased by son, Joseph Mathew Godwin; stepsons: Gene and Eric Bergeron; brothers: William R. and Michael H. Erhard.

Lu is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Donald; son, Jason Michael Godwin; daughter, Agnes “Aggie” Marie Penn; stepdaughter, Renee Bergeron; 2 brothers: James G. Erhard and Martin H. Erhard (Linda); 3 sisters: Eileen F. Kotkin, Jean C. Parker (James), and Patricia A. Doran; grandchildren: Kirsty Veros, Zachary Ortega, Garret Godwin, Dylan Godwin, Zoie Godwin-Walther (Marco) and Maggie Godwin; and great-grandchildren: Jaxon Godwin-Walther, Riley Veros, Brooke Veros, Emma Kirsbaum and Bella Ortega; and sister-in-law, Sandi Erhard.

Funeral Services will be held 11 AM, Friday January 28, 2022 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL with visitation held 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home. Please post words of comfort at www.hardage-giddensrivermead.com.
