Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep.

I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow:

I am the diamond glints on snow.

1 am the sunlight on ripened grain.

1 am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush

I am the swift, uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

1 am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand by my grave and cry;

I am not there. I did not die.

Mary Elizabeth Frye

What a delight Helen was in speech class. She was so bright and quick witted with her tongue. She kept a rapid fire back and forth going with a classmate that made our heads spin with how clever her quick retorts were. She had a big heart and was just a delight. A pleasure to have known her.!!
