Yeagle,  Chet Phillips, John Moran and me hung out and drank a lot colt 45. In fact we left of colt 45's to the junior class. This memory was on the Bar on Joline avenue. We all asked this guy to buy us a case of "colt". About  a half hour later he came out with a case of coke. Yeagle said he had "power in the arm" and we needed to go in and get our colt 45. He said that a lot. Needless to say we never got out colt that night. Power of the arm.....that was bobby.

July 11, 1947 -- July 1, 2020 To know Bob was to be his friend, and if you were his friend, you were de facto his family. With his big heart and gregarious nature, Bob seemed on a quest to adopt as much family as possible. While he had a lot of honorary family of the heart, he also had two sons, Marc and Brian and a stepson, Rob Middleton who he could not have loved more. Marc and his wife Stacy gave him the greatest gift of all, his two beautiful granddaughters, Ava and Alli. He would light up at the mention of their names and he reveled in their accomplishments, eager to tell anyone who would listen about how amazing they were. Bob loved basketball and was thrilled at how his granddaughter Ava followed in his footsteps to be a champion basketball player. It meant a lot to him that he could share his passion for sports with her and go to her games to cheer her on. Bob was always quick to laugh or tell a joke, which further endeared him to many of us. He also loved 60’s music. When I would take him to his doctor’s appointments, he would switch the radio to the 60’s station and sing along to his favorites. He really enjoyed guessing the artist playing and seeing if he was right. It amazed me at how accurate he was, even with the tumor growing inside his head. One of Bob’s favorite things to do was go the Poconos and hunt each year. I suspect it gave him some solace and comfort to be with nature. I hope that these words have brought you some positive thoughts of Bob and reminded you of how he might have made your life just a bit better by being a part of it. We all know Bob loved a good story, so please share your stories of him as a way of honoring Bob and keeping his memory alive. God bless you, Bob. May you rest in peace.
